Adam Turk is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 117 in the Kansas House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025. He ran for election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 117 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Adam Turk is a native Kansan who grew up in rural Douglas County and graduated from Baldwin High School. He earned an associate degree in criminal justice/law enforcement administration from the Community College of the Air Force and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Missouri Southern State University in 2010.

He has served in the Kansas Air National Guard and has reached the rank of master sergeant. His career experience includes owning two 9Round fitness clubs and Dominion Consulting, LLC, a business leadership consulting firm for small business startups.

In the Kansas House of Representatives, Turk has sponsored several bills and resolutions. He has been assigned to the following committees: Appropriations Committee, Corrections and Juvenile Justice Committee, and General Government Budget Committee.
