Biography

Arthur Mingo is of Calais is serving his first term as the Representative for District 9.

Arthur is a self-employed business owner, manufacturer, and developer, having purchased his third business by the age of twenty. He is also actively engaged in farming activities.

Arthur has dedicated 18 years to the Calais City Council, including 2 years as Mayor, and has been a volunteer firefighter for 30 years. He has contributed his expertise to numerous boards and committees and is a member of the St. Croix Country Club.

Currently, Arthur serves as a Board Member for the Downeaster Economic Development Corporation. His achievements in business have earned him the Horatio Alger Award for Business Excellence.

Arthur is married to Angela, and they have three children and one grandchild. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and anything involving a round ball.
