Lewis “Bill” Bloom is an American politician who has been serving in the Kansas House of Representatives from the 64th district since January 9, 2023. He succeeded Suzi Carlson, who did not seek re-election.

Bill Bloom is a member of the Republican Party. He has a degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University and is a farmer by profession. In fact, he is a 7th generation farmer, which gives him a deep understanding of agriculture.

Bill Bloom is a Methodist and lives with his wife, Linda, who is an elementary school teacher. They have three children and eight grandchildren. He served six years in the Kansas National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to public service.

In the Kansas House of Representatives, Bill Bloom is a member of several committees, including Transportation and Public Safety Budget, Local Government, Agriculture and Natural Resources Budget, and Water. He has sponsored several bills and resolutions, reflecting his active role in the legislative process.
