Rep. Christina Mitchell is currently serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives and serves as a member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.
Christina has spent more than 30 years teaching English Language Learners (ELL) and social studies in Maine public schools grades 7-12 and adult education in Wiscasset, Windham and at Portland High. She has also taught at the University of Southern Maine, Southern Maine Community College and in the Republic of China (Taiwan).
An active member of her community, Christina currently serves on the MSAD51 School Board and volunteers with the Cumberland Historical Society and the Cumberland 200th Anniversary Committee.
She and her husband reside in Cumberland, where they raised their son.
