Biography

Stevan Pearce (born August 24, 1947) is a former American politician who represented New Mexico in the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the U.S. Representative for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District. Pearce first entered Congress at the start of the 108th Congress, with his term beginning on January 7, 2003.

Pearce served seven terms in the House, remaining in office until January 3, 2019. During this period, he was a Republican representative for the 2nd District of New Mexico, participating in the legislative work of the House over the course of sixteen years.
